What Can We Do About It?
The election of Donald Trump accomplished many unique things, but the most important is that it woke Americans up to the absolute attack we are under from Big Government, Big Tech, Big Media, Big Pharma and Big Corporate. He wasn’t kidding when he referred to what he sees in Washington DC as “The Swamp.”
“The Swamp” implies that there is rancid, muck everywhere and it is infested with venomous snakes and dangerous belly crawling creatures. Everything about “The Swamp” is unhealthy and his stated goal was to drain it, exposing it to the sun and destroying the contents.
Of course we witnessed, the Democrat Party (the snakes) and the RINO GOP (also the snakes) rise up and manipulate, lie and deceive us at every level. They use both traditional and social media, of course, to spread those lies.
So my whole blog has been aimed at further exposing Leftist/socialist/communist treachery, but the real question is: What Can We Do About It?
Big Government:
There are ways we can take back control of our government, but it isn’t quite how you might think. Yes, it would be nice to volunteer to support and fundraise for conservative candidates for your Senate and congressional Representatives, but an even more effective way to take back our government is to get active in your local school board.
You want to know where the enemy has infected our nation most effectively? They teach our children! Just pay attention right now to how many Leftist lunatics are now on social media complaining that they can no longer talk to their 2nd grade students about their non-binary/gay/LGBTQ+ relationships because of the Florida “Parental Rights” law that Ron DeSantis just signed into law.
First of all, I’m guessing that you never figured a grown adult teacher would ever consider talking about that kind of stuff to your second grader, alas, they do. Our second graders are exposed to all kinds of sexual content at the behest of our local school boards who get to set the curriculum, approve of the school principals and decide which textbooks are used.
So before you go sign up to support Ted Cruz, consider getting active in your local school district and local government.
One alarming conversation I had about 15 years ago occurred in Fort Wayne, Indiana. I was at a neighborhood party and there was a married couple who were both Leftist attorneys. They had to retire from the party early because the next morning, they were going to become election judges. When I asked what made them do that, their answer left me frozen. They said, “Well, we saw how the 2000 Presidential Election turned out and we figured that if we had the ability to flip it the other way as election judges, we decided to do our part and join in.”
I kid you not. This is the mentality of democrats that we rarely get to see except for in intoxicated, loose-lipped moments like this. These people strategically put themselves in place to manipulate votes in our elections. We need to volunteer to hold these maniacs in check. I don’t care who you vote for (although I will think you are mentally challenged if you vote democrat), but I would never DENY your right to vote, no matter how stupid I think your decision is. But not them. YOU are THEIR enemy and you are to be defeated at all costs.
So get on your local election board and volunteer to hold these Leftists in check.
You know who didn’t have any GOP election judges in the 2020 election in the counties where hundreds of thousands of votes mysteriously appeared out of thin air? Yup:
Philadelphia County (where we went to bed and Trump was up in PA by 650,000 votes only to wake up and mysteriously he was losing)
Fulton County, GA (where there were 98,000 ballots with ONLY Joe Biden selected, but NO OTHER candidate selected at all….)
Wayne County (Detroit), where 220,000 ballots mysteriously showed up in the middle of the night)
All I’m saying is that there were no GOP election judges protecting the integrity of the 202 election, but I know for sure that there were hundreds of Democrat election judges in those same places.
I’ll be honest, I’m from Chicago and we don’t even pretend to have fair elections in Illinois. Democrats lie, cheat and steal in every way, shape and form for as long as anyone can remember. And in the very few times when somehow a democrat gets snared in a voter fraud scandal and gets sent off to prison for a while, there are dozens of replacement thieves to take their place.
If you think massive voter fraud isn’t a national problem, I’ve got a bridge to sell you.
Big Tech:
The only more perverse, corrupt hell-hole than Big Government is Big Tech. Twitter, FaceBook, Instagram (owned by FB) and most of the rest are no more than adult indoctrination camps. They censor, spread lies and disseminate half-truths under the guise of ‘news’ or ‘fact,’ knowing very well that neither is true. There is no ‘truth’ other than what they say and any dissenting opinion or challenge to their purple haired, bone through the nose army of ‘fact-checkers’ is deleted and cancelled.
Consider the free alternatives to Big Tech: GETTR, MeWe and soon, Truth Social are a long way from having the same number of users as Big Tech, but try them out. The only way to hurt our enemies is to take our money and support away from them.
Big Corporate:
Disney Corporation is now the latest ‘woke’ corporate behemoth to go rogue. In response to the “Parent’s Rights” bill in Florida which merely prevents teachers from introducing sex and gender concepts to kids from ages 5-7, the CEO of Disney has apologized for not providing enough resistance to the bill! Of course, Big Media/Democrats had great marketing people invent a catchy, emotionally charged name for it……’the Don’t Say Gay Bill.’
If you ask me, I’d even be OK with the bill actually saying “you can’t say the word gay to a 5-7 year old in their school” because who the hell do you think you are to be talking about gender and sex to my 5-7 year old without my permission? Alas, the word “gay” doesn’t appear a single time in the 6 page bill, but democrat/Leftist/Disney hysterics never allow a moment for manufactured ‘outrage’ to pass and so here we are.
But what do we DO about Big Corporate? I will ‘vote with my feet.’ This means that under no circumstances will I ever spend a dollar of my hard-earned money supporting any Disney product. I won’t watch ESPN, I won’t ever attend a Disney Park with my family, I will avoid supporting any and all Disney subsidiaries moving forward. Disney+ and their entire streaming platform can kiss my toes.
Maybe my one little, ole self wouldn’t be a blip on the Disney balance sheet, but you know what? If enough of us decided to stop supporting Disney, they will hear us loud and clear.
Big Media:
Funny thing about making the switch from ‘reporting the news’ to ‘manufacturing the news’: organizations like CNN, ABC, NBC and CBS have seen their ratings get absolutely killed over the past 5 years because, as it turns out, when you become partisan shills for the Democrat Party agenda and lie about everything GOP, people stop watching! Go figure!
Other than politicians, the media has a lower approval rating than Pol Pot. It turns out that when you sacrifice honesty and fact for opinion and conjecture, the viewer gets tired of all the drama. I can totally understand why Big Media did it though…..no one in their right mind reads the newspaper anymore, so when you can manufacture wild hysteria on your screens, people will tune in to see the drama for a while. But sooner of later, that drama causes fatigue and we start to call out the lies.
Currently, I patronize the following ‘news’ sources daily: Fox, CNN, Associated Press, the BBC, Al Jezeera, Wall Street Journal, CNBC and MS-NBC. Mind you, all except for Fox are radical Leftist organizations, but in the end, I’m looking for bits of fact with each, then sewing them together so I can build a picture of what is really happening in the world. I take the picture I build, then start asking the following questions to validate and understand:
What are they telling me?
Why are they telling me this now?
When did this happen?
Where does this impact me? The nation? The world?
What other possibilities can explain the news they are telling me?
What is the author’s motivation for sharing this news?
Who benefits when I act on this news?
Some would call this ‘critical thinking’ and others call it neuroticism, but for me, it helps me look at things from different viewpoints and allows me to ask questions to uncover underlying motivations.
What to do about Big Media? I’ll support OAN or the Blaze who are more conservative, but even they do not get a ‘free pass’ with me. Fox News, much maligned by the Left because they are the most powerful alternative to the rest of the Leftist media, can ALSO be guilty of manipulating their news coverage for ratings…..therefore, my advice is to leverage multiple sources to do your own homework. It takes time and work, but do not allow yourself to be lazy. The reason the media is as powerful as it is today is because we trusted the media to do the hard work of investigating a story and then telling us the facts. The result is that we abdicated that position and blindly trusted everything they said, to our folly, because as it turns out, the media had a Leftist agenda all along!
Big Pharma:
Considering the fact that no industry in US history has had to pay out more in fines and penalties to the US government than Big Pharma, this one should be easy.
Much along the lines of me saying ‘gone are the days of worshipping teachers’ because they’ve become vessels of communist indoctrination of our children, I advocate for the same position with our medical professionals.
I define Big Pharma as not only the global pharmaceutical drug manufacturers, but also the CDC, the WHO (World Health Organization) and even the hospital networks. None of them should be insulated from the scrutiny of our questions.
We’ve allowed democrats, backed up with the media to literally deify everything Anthony Fauci (director of the CDC) to the point where even asking questions about the issuance of draconian guidelines in the name of ‘public safety’ was deemed “anti-science.” No one has been able to question the CDC and of course the media has now labelled people like me as “anti-vaxxer”.
Despite the fact that I am a firm believer in vaccines, I have always been skeptical about these COVID ‘vaccines.’ From my other posts, you know that I believe in freedom of choice and the Leftist narrative that as an Unvaccinated person, I reject that idea that I ‘killed your grandma’ because of my refusal to get the jab.
My argument has always been, before injecting something into my body that will bind to my biological DNA, I want WAY MORE independent data supporting the safety of said chemical.
Of course, I have also stated that I believe Big Pharma and the US Government have manufactured COVID as a bio-weapon, but chose to release it because there was a bigger threat to The Swamp and to radical Leftist democrats than a future enemy like China or Russia. Their actual boogeyman was Donald Trump and the US government released it via Wuhan, China to shift voting to mail in where they could cheat and manipulate.
Time will tell if I am right, but in the end, I’ve been labeled a ‘conspiracy theorist’ for 35 years and I haven’t been wrong a single time yet!
Back to Big Pharma. For me, I choose to not rely on drugs or chemicals that are manufactured in a lab for my health. I get outside for the Vitamin D that sunshine provides. I eat a healthy diet and I exercise to keep my body in shape to fight off diseases. I push my mind to new heights by learning to speak German, read a book per week and constantly question what I see to exercise my mind. I pray to God and work to deepen my relationship with Him to train my soul.
I refuse to rely on drugs so I can deny Big Pharma my dollars. Again, while they likely won’t notice that I am gone, if enough of us chose to adopt that healthy lifestyle, therefore reducing our dependence on them, it would hit them in the pocketbook.
Conclusion:
I fully understand if you feel like there is no hope in the national onslaught that we’ve been enduring at the hands of the democrat party. Sometimes, it feels really bleak, especially when we have a weak GOP who always seems to get weak-kneed when it comes to standing up and smashing democrats in the mouth.
But if we are ever going to pull our nation back from the abyss and save this blessed nation, we are going to have to DO something about it. We must take action, not just sit back and wait for someone else to do the right thing. They aren’t going to do it. Therefore, I implore you to join me in taking the fight to the streets. As for me, I will be signing up to be an election judge in my district. I will get to know my local school board and participate in their meetings….and if they begin adopting Leftist ideology, I will RUN and get elected to said school board.
Whatever you do, don’t just sit there. Join me in this noble and important fight!
